BilligVVS is web shop running now for 5 years.
It has grown from a few hundred products to more than 20.000.
The individual categories, e.g. taps or toilets, contain hundreds
of products, making it difficult for customers to find what
they need.
The purpose of this project was to make
it easier for BilligVVS' customers to find what they need
to reduce the number of customers giving up and to reduce
the need for customer support and thus increase sales efficiency.
We also migrated data from it's Berkeley DB to PostgreSQL
to make the application more scalable.
